An excellent alternative to an original painting is a Giclee Print which is a high quality reproduction of an original painting on canvas.
Adrienne, who is fully bilingual (French - English), studied at UNB in the Arts department and then went to business-college where she received a diploma in 1987. She was then employed with the Province of New Brunswick for 7 years working mainly in the Department of Advanced Education and Training, the Department of Justice and the Youth Council of New Brunswick. In 1994, she moved to the private sector where for the next 6 and a half years she worked for a national Actuarial Consulting firm as a Pension Analyst and eventually an Associate Consultant and very successfully managed large employee benefit software implementation projects across the country.
Adrienne lived in Fredericton, New Brunswick for 14 years before relocating to Nova Scotia in June 1999. While in Fredericton, Adrienne painted with Turps, a local art club where she served as President from 1997 to 1999. She participated in several annual exhibits with Turps and also exhibited at Gallery 78, a lovely Art Gallery in one of the Victorian heritage properties in Downtown Fredericton, on a few occasions. Until recently, Adrienne painted only in her spare time and considered her art a hobby. She has recently re-evaluated her priorities in life and has decided to make significant lifestyle changes to accommodate her passion and life-long dream : painting full time. Adrienne has also always toyed with the idea of being an entrepreneur and therefore combined the two ideas by creating AdrienneFineArt.com - a virtual art gallery on the world wide web featuring her artwork. Adrienne is especially pleased to be introducing Gicl馥 Prints to her growing line of products and hopes to be selling her work in print stores throughout Atlantic Canada and internationally through her web site in the very near future. Adrienne plans on returning to her native Province of New Brunswick in 2001 to live and paint.
